These shoes look good on the ouside, but they are heavy and uncomfortable. When I play basketball with them and then take them off, they hurt my feet. I really do not like them.

Great Shoes
I think New Balance is a great shoe and fits well. These are the best New Balance I have purchased. The sole is wonderful and provides great stability. My only complaint is that not enough attention is paid to a really good arch support. Once I purchased additional arch insoles the shoes were great.

New Balance Women's MR2234 Running Shoe
Perfect Shoes
I use this shoe because gait analysis found that it was the most suitable for me. Slight knee injury cleared up quickly and never returned (3 years including its predecessor, 857). This model is more comfortable and the webbing is stronger than the 857s, which had a tendency to tear after a few hundred miles. One of the lace straps broke shortly after buying my first pair of the 858s. My second pair felt fine when I put them on, but required a lot more breaking in than previous shoes.
Have been running in shoes from this line since the 851. (I have tried others, but keep coming back to this line for general training/running.) The 858 is the best of the line. Definitely a solid sole with good support but still feels like a running shoe built in part for speed. Recommended.

New Balance Men's MR882 Walking Shoe

The New Balance 822 walking shoe is the most comfortable shoe I own.Having foot problems my Ortopedic dr.insisted I buy NB shoes,according to him they are the best.All of the engineering and design that NB desribes for this shoe is true.They have the SL2 last,deep seating for foot,wide toe box,plenty of support and padding.They also come in wide sizes.
I've used these shoes for the past 3 years and I think they out do all others by a long shot. They fit true to size, have wonderful durability, and feel wonderful on your feet. I started with the 881 which lasted close to 1.5 years of hard daily use. I've had the 882 since then and they are doing just as well. The only con is that they only come in white. It would be great if they were in a darker color so they'd not show dirt as much. However, I've washed them in the machine and hung then out to dry - and they've come out great. I love the no slip shoe strings as well. I know you will love yours.

They are great shoes. Except for... I ordered 4E size and they are a bit snug across the toes for EEEE. However, they seem to be breaking in nicely. Also are much more stylish than most other "walking" shoes.
I work in a warehouse, and spend my day walking around on a concrete floor for 10 to 12 hours, so I needed a shoe that would be comfortable and durable enough for that kind of punishment.
After trying Nike Air and Reebok cross-trainers, plus gel inserts and other sources of relief, I finally found the New Balance 926. And while I am not a medical expert, I can tell you that within a week of wearing these shoes and breaking them in, my feet were no longer sore and aching at the end of the day.
Now it's 9 months later, and my poor shoes have had it, and I'm going right back to what works.
Outside of work I don't do much walking, but for the punishment I dish out, these are the best shoes I've ever owned.
