I have a closet full of Chucks. I didn't have a pair in golden yellow. Now I do. I will save them for those formal occasions. Comfortable, zero arch support, I've worn them since I was kid. Why change now? For those of us who wear Chucks we know one another and can spot each other a block away. It's always a good way to start a conversation with a total stranger. In 2004 I wore my sky blue pair to Lithuania. I don't think they had ever seen a pair up close. I got some stares. I love my Chucks and I plan to buy more when I see new colors that I don't have.
